‘The Greek Word’ – My first book!

A lot has happened since my last blog.  With the entire 2020 year being a complete insane roller coaster.  I fell behind in blogging but did not fall behind in the projects I wanted to complete for the year.

I set a goal to write and publish my first children’s book this year.   This was not a project I thought I would ever share with the public or for anyone to respond to it as they did.  The entire process was humbling but a learning experience.

The Greek Word was something that was personal to me.  My father often mentioned the Greek Virtue Philotimo and how it was one of this words that had more meaning than we could comprehend.  The book represents qualities that any parent wants their child to have. Kindness, generosity, love, living for something larger than yourself, and much more. This has always been a word we use in our household and I believe our world needs a little Greek virtue these days.

The entire book support that virtue, it illustrates the meaning, and give a parent a good story to share with their kids.  The link is below, check it out. Much love! ~Niko
