Posted by I recently downloaded the Robinhood App to have some fun in the stock market. I have always had investments but typically hold them ‘Longterm’ in a brokerage account but I do love having a play account where I can take my chances on being the next brilliant Warren Buffett.
First and foremost, the app is slick. It has a great user experience and allows you to manage your account from your smart phone with ease. Investors who our seeking free trades, free stocks, and may want to dabble in options trading. Robinhood may be a perfect match. However, if you are a season investor you may find the platform does not give you all the needs you are comfortable with.

- Easy to use Platform
- Free Trades
- Simplicity
The shortcomings:
- Limited Research
- Not a ton of brokerage features as others
Give it a try or just sign up for your free stock….who know, you may be the next Buffett.
