Today marks 83 days since Fortnite left our household. I have always been liberal on technology and have encouraged the kids to use it. However, it was a stark reality when you realize your kids personality was changing because of a video game.
There are times it has been tough and I thought ‘What can an hour hurt, let him play.’ Then I realize what has happened since then and how he is incredibly more focused and is not stuck in a room begging to play for hours at a time. Grades, Soccer, etc. have all improved. Funny how this works!
He has his whole life to be stuck staring at the screen. Right now, I am glad he is running around and enjoying ‘kid’ stuff.

(we also bought him a cell phone (radio) for Christmas. A RelayGo, (https://relaygo.com/) because it does not have a screen. Will let you know how it works out.)
PS–Devon is totally against all tech. So kudos to her for being against Fortnite from the start!
